After purchased the resale HDB, the owner hope that have a spacious common living area for family gatherings, with enough seating for 6-8 people and a game room for family MAHJONG session. The whole room is set with our owners’ fav colour palette which is white, beige & green. We carefully selected different shades of warm wood colours and textures for a classic and soothing vibe.
After finding a designer to communicate his needs in detail, they entrusts the designer with full authority to plan, trusting in professional judgment and construction, and transform the dilapidated house to an ideal home, allows the owner, who is a 70-year-old senior couple and a helper to achieve a comfortable and accessible living space that accommodates their daily needs while preserving cherished memories in a revitalised and aesthetically pleasing environment.
Living Room | Foyer. Build in storage shoe cabinets along the entranceway, linked with a L-shaped corner window storage settee. The idea packs ample seating and storage into a small space with strategic customisations that don’t overwhelm the eye.
Living room. Soften the whole look with textiles, adding a few brightly coloured throw pillows for a punch of happiness and positivity.
Kitchen & Dining. Wood texture warm up the kitchen while the neutral base palette still provides a simple and sleek overall look. The kitchen is open, airy and full of natural light.
Common room. Dressing + storage combo. Set at the side of the bed, this “bay window” beauty station + storage cabinet effectively keep the small bedroom clutter free. With the perfect natural light condition at the window, the flip-top vanity mirror is just what you need for your daily beauty routine.
Common bathroom. The old common bathroom was dark, cramped with very little space to have a comfortable shower.
